Gen-Blk Zine is a 2000's themed fashion magazine for girls of color, specifically for Black girls.

This zine was founded in June 2020 by Imara Moore, Jaryn Barefield, and Selam Getu, who share a common love for writing, fashion, and their community.

Our mission is to Inspire young girls of color by expressing ourselves through fashion. We want to uplight every girl and help them find style, confidence, and power through our magazine. We have our magazines, Instagram, website, and Tik Tok where we post important content, fashion tips, style icons, giveaways, and more to help others.
